I.        General information

  1. The online service BOFORT.PL is operated by the partnership MGMV sp. z o.o. head office in Warsaw (zip code 03-185), Myśliborska 115/25, REGON/KRS (business registry entry) 141166599/0000289827, NIP (tax identification number) 5242629796.
  2. The service acquires information about users and their behavior in ways described below:
  3. Through information voluntarily provided in forms.
  4. Through saving cookie files in end devices.
  5. Through accumulating log-ins of the www server by the hosting operator of BOFORT.PL, www.home.pl

II. Information in the forms

  1. The Portal collects information provided voluntarily by the user.
  2. Furthermore, the Portal may record information about connection parameters (duration, IP address).
  3. Data in the form is not provided to third parties without user’s consent.
  4. Data provided in the form may constitute a collection of prospective clients, registered by the Portal’s operator in the registry managed by the Chief Inspector of Personal Data Protection.
  5. Filling out the reservation form constitutes an expression of consent to Your personal data being processed in accordance with the act on personal data protection (Journal of laws no 133, item 833 later amended) and to conveying this data to the Boat-owner (owner or person deciding about the yacht) for proper agreement fulfillment.
    Clients have the right to access, improve or remove their data from the service.
  6. Data provided in the forms are protected with the utmost diligence and will be used only to respond to customers’ enquiries or for agreement fulfillment.
  7. Data provided in the forms may be conveyed to entities that technically execute certain services – in particular this applies to conveying information about the owner of a registered domain to entities that operate online domains (above all the Naukowa i Akademicka Sieć Komputerowa (Scientific and Academic Computer Network — NASK), portals operating payments or other entities that the portal’s operator cooperates with in this respect.

III. Information on cookie files

  1. The portal uses cookie files.
  2. Cookies are IT data, especially text files, stored in the portal user’s end device and are used for using the portal’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website that they originate from, the amount of time they have been stored on the end device and a unique number
  3. The entity placing cookies on the end device of the portal user and obtaining access to them is the portal’s operator.
  4. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
    1. creating statistics, helping understand how users use websites, which enables improving their structure and content;
    2. maintain the session of the portal user (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not have to re-type the login and password on every subpage of the portal;
    3. establishing the user profile, to show them suited materials in advertising networks, especially the Google network.
  5. The portal users two principal types of cookie files: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files stored on the user’s end device until logging out, leaving the website or turning off the software (Internet browser). Persistent cookies are stored on the user’s end device throughout the time set by the cookie parameters or until they are removed by the User.
  6. Website browsing software (Internet browser) by default allows the saving of cookie files in the user’s end device. The portal’s users can make changes in this respect. The Internet browser enables deleting cookie files. It is also possible to automatically block cookie files. Detailed information on this subject are included in the help section or documentation of the Internet browser.
  7. Restricting the use of cookie files may impact some features available on the portal’s pages.
  8. Cookie files placed in the user’s end device can also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the portal’s operator.

  10. Cookies can be used by advertising networks, especially the Google network, for screening advertising suited to how the user used the portal. To that end, they may retain information about the navigation path of the user or how much time they spent on a given website.

IV. Server logs

  1. Information on some behaviors of users is logged in the server layer. This data is used only for administering the portal and to provide the most efficient service of hosting services.
  2. Resources that are browsed through are identified via their URL addresses. Moreover, the following may be recorded:
    1. enquiry sending time,
    2. response sending time,
    3. the client station name – identification via HTTP protocol,
    4. information on errors that occurred during HTTP transaction realization,
    5. URL address of the website previously visited by the user (referrer link) – if the portal was entered via a link,
    6. information on the user’s browser,
    7. information on the IP address.
  3. The above data is not associated with specific people browsing the websites.
  4. The above data is used only for the purposes of server administration.

V. Providing access to the data

  1. Data is provided to external entities only within the boundaries of law.
  2. Data enabling identification of the natural person are provided only with the consent of that person.
  3. The operator may be obliged to provide information acquired by the service to proper authorities based on legal demands to the extent expressed in that demand.

VI. Management of cookie files – how to express and withdraw consent in practice?

  1. If the user does not wish to receive cookie files, they can change browser settings. We reserve that switching off cookies which are necessary for verification, safety, maintaining user preferences, can hamper, and in extreme cases make impossible the use of websites.
